WW II Paratroopers

Paratroopers were one of elite soldiers of the IIWW. In spite of their fame their operational exits were scarce. In the invasion of Crete, German casualties were so high that Hitler refused more para-shooting until the end of war. More often paratroopers were used as elite infantry.

The official is making signals while the radio operator relies on more up to date technology.

There are mixed types of troops some in very relaxed poses. The soldier throwing the grenade mimics a baseball player.

The official is armed with the MP-40 machine gun.

The soldier with the heavy machine gun is in au unusual pose for this kind of weapon. The third soldier is aiming with the anti-tank Panzerfaust.

The last figure is armed with the anti-tank weapon, Panzerschreck, not very common in plastic figures.
