Science Fiction

Science fiction is a common theme for films and so is natural that some companies made figures inspired by those. In this blog post you will be able to see some examples of my collection regarding this theme.

Science fiction is a common theme for films and so is natural that some companies made figures inspired by those. The more common figures are, probably, from Star Wars films.

Britains

Britains produced some figures inspired by Science fiction. There were 6 different figures that were made in yellow and black plastic. The yellow figures represent humankind, while the black ones represent some sort of extraterrestrial civilization. They have metal bases like Deetail figures. These figures were introduced in 1981 and were deleted in 1987.

The figure in the middle is a woman. There are two types of “pistols”.

The last pose seems very uncomfortable. There are two different “rifles”.

The E.T figures are represented with same bodies but different heads. Besides the difference on the body color, bases are also different, as we can se they were made with a bronze color.

Some sort of special monsters were also made, which are using normal bodies with heads and appendixes in a rubber material.

Lego

Lego company produces a series of figures based on the films of Star Wars saga. Down we can see figures inspired on the movie Start Wars – The Phantom Menance with figures like R2D2, Jar Jar Binks and Qui-Gon Jinn.
