“Lord of the Rings” was a tittle of a series of three novels wrote by J. R. R. Tolkien. Games Workshop developed a series of figures directly inspired by movies that were made according to the books. The figures, in 28mm scale, allowed to recreate scenes of the story. In Portugal figures were released on a weekly basis with a leaflet that included painting instructions, rules to play with figures and instructions to create scenario for play. The scenario variated from simple walls to ruins, houses and big castles. I have collected until number 60. The collection is divided in “Light” (the good people) and “Darkness” (bad people and monsters).
