Flags are essential elements in any army. They purpose is to mark a rally point and to boost morale of soldiers. Unfortunately plastic flags are easily lost because poles are often thin and brake. In this post I´m going to show a easy way to make a flag.
I have some Jean Hoefler medieval figures including a flag bearer. The flag was lost many years ago. I use a wire pole and glue metal tube to make the flag.

These Jean Hoefler got wire poles. On the back is a piece of glue tube to make the flags.

The glue tube is clean from glue and painting from the internal and external sides. After that the pieces are cut to the intended size.

The flags are in place and they are bend to give a more natural look.

The last phase is the painting. The tip of the pole come from the box of spare bits from other projects.
