This German company produces moulds to make figures of 40mm scale. The figures are almost 3D, specially horses, and recognizable by their octagonal bases. Most figures in my collection represent the German army and were already painted.
Composition figures are made of a mixture of sawdust, glue, kaolin and cassein (Joplin). This mixture was put in a mold around a wire armature. The figures were sold painted.
