Some companies decided to make toy soldiers in aluminium (Al) because they were more resistant and lighter than those made in lead (Pb). However the quality of the moulding was inferior and much less sharp. This kind of material was used mainly by French makers. The majority of figures were painted by me.

This is probably the most known company that made aluminium figures.
These figures represent the French Army.
The first figure is a French officer and the second an American soldier.
There also figures from the Far West like this campfire and the Indian on horseback. They are monobloc pieces.
